Vector Text Design

               Sweet tasty rock hard chocolate is a favorite of all cute little children. Its brown and dark color make your mouth watery just by looking at it. Okey, this is my first Vector text design using a tutorial in tutsplus. basically this design will only take an hour and a half but for me it almost took me three hours and still the result is this. Not quite of a details on the chocolate and a point edges on it. This tutorial taught me many things in AI(Adobe Illustrator); the shortcuts especially when you cant find what your looking for you can go to window then commands are there. The transformation too and a little of a 3d effect for the chocolate.

               The going to stand letters of my name with their own shadow making them more realistic like standing. The design tutorial will only take 5 mins but then again it took me an hour or more. this tutorial taught me more about the 3d effect and the map. and I know, the coloring is still not good because I'm still stuck in blue and black color. I have an AI now and will practice some of the tutorials. I learned practice don't make us perfect but it can lessen the time and effort of out works.

Logo project

            I only made one logo for this project. tried hard on making it. I learned that tracing is hard as drawing but with some effort I still pull it out. I started tracing maybe around 10:30 in the morning with my classmates. Some of them got finish earlier but I'm still stuck in the tracing of the dice. Then around 1+ a sudden black out and just like that the whole two hours and more of effort had been gone. I made this logo in a hurry for my next class starts at three andwith that lucky black out, I only have an hour to make the entire tracing thing again.I cant make it at home because I don't have an AI in my laptop. I admit it that the shape of the logo was too simple and the color was I don't know some gradient of black and blue but I learned one important thing from this project; be ready in an unexpected happenings, expect the unexpected. I concentrated on tracing the Logo and forgot to save it.

               I'm not to good on coloring and maybe I need to practice on that too.

   My facebook timeline photo and an old broken glass pic overlayed together to make this webpage of mine to life. Its a little bit tricky copying from a tutorial but in the end worthy I may say.

   Although almost all of the things mention in the tutorial where taught in class, its still a learning. I never thought that doing this can make that and this. All have been taught and explain, except for the ruler thing, but without the tutorials how make it to be like this is different. We'll I copy the tutorial and made a different on putting the pictures just to make it unique.

Photoshop Projects

               From argel font combining some of my friends teaching and internet tutorial. Still not as beautiful as it should be but I think this should pass. This Angel word in an argel font is very amazing and with its cool texture it and layer bending combination it made a nice metallic effect.              Pink with black stripes looks like a strawberry and a chocolate flavor style of my name. Using an Anja Elaine font to create this exciting mouthwatering style of  my name is just so awesome.          From the start of this project helps me understand more about Photoshop and the limitless power of Photoshop. I understand layer bending much better now and some of its tricks. I can make my own pattern, upload new fonts, gradient design and even new shapes and brushes.

Blogging Assignment #1: Reflection

                    Different kind of gadgets and modern electronic tools the so called “Multimedia” help our lives in many ways. It makes life easier by making our daily task and chores lighter and comfortable to do and to be done. Connect people around the globe with just a click of a button or a type of a number. And the good part of these things is they are very handy others are adjustable and some others are water and fire proof  that even in the toughest area and situation these things had proven themselves even more useful.

                As a BSIT student multimedia now run a big part in our lives and in the future. Computers, cellphone, DSLR and other electronic device will be our best friends in work. I love to travel in different places and one of my hobbies is taking beautiful pictures as I go and DSLR or new gadgets in taking beautiful high definition pictures are fit in that kind of hobby of mine. Then I can enhance it more in Photoshop or other photo manipulating programs. And finally I can post it in my blog so that others can see my works. I’ll be having my DSLR soon.

                2015 maybe or sooner and I’ll be graduating my chosen course and will live my life and find job and a family, Gods willing. My job will be more likely related to computer works or some programming jobs. Even after graduation multimedia will play a big part in my job or career also. Multimedia is my key to have a successful life and to have a successful job. Come what may where my wings will take me in the uncertain future of my life but I’m certain in one thing; multimedia will help me achieve my goals in many ways and more.
